Job description
Are you looking to take a step away from the mainstream classroom and the ever-growing pile of planning and marking?

Continue impacting and improving the lives of young people and join our team of tutors. You will be working 1:1 with 1-3 students per week and expected to deliver 3 sessions a day, totalling 5 hours of teaching. The students have not been able to access group education due to a range of needs, including long-term sickness, social and emotional difficulties, learning delays and medical needs. You will need to be quick thinking as no child or day will be the same.

Why would this be for you?
• Working with fewer students and providing more of a nurturing and catered learning experience.
• Evenings are yours - with less students and reduced teaching hours (9 3:30pm), you have time in the school day to complete your planning, marking and report writing.
• A great team, with almost 15 tutors already on board you can always find support and a friendly face.

What we need from you?
Flexibility is essential as you will have to teach a range of subjects to a range of ages.
• QTS! You must be a Secondary Qualified Teacher with a specialism in English, Maths or Science.
• Capacity to teach both Primary and Secondary aged pupils
• Capacity to teach subjects outside your subject specialism - you will be provided resources for the subjects that you do not specialise in.
• Full UK driving license as you will be expected to drive from various locations, including libraries and pupil's homes.
Passion for wanting to make a difference in the lives and education of vulnerable young people.

If you want to teach but without the workload of a conventional Class Teacher please get in touch by calling 0203 219 77 45 or emailing emmy.rupasinghe@protocol-education.com.

We look forward to hearing from you!
