Job description

We are looking for Science teachers interested in a top Secondary School
• Science Teacher
• Outstanding Secondary School
• Full Time Science Teacher required.
• Potential of a permanent Science teacher post.

Required ASAP an ambitious Science teacher for a successful and well-regarded secondary school set within North West London.

The school provides quality education for children within the local area, providing the foundations for their pupils' development towards GCSEs and A Levels. The school has a formidable reputation within the local community for providing a first class education. There is a large sixth' form and consistently gain entry to top universities for successful students. The school can boast an amazing support system.

The Science Teacher Vacancy:

In this exciting Science Teacher position, you will be an important part of the high-attaining Science Department. There is ample and experienced technicians and a very good Head of Science. The post can include A-Level (depending on your subject specialism) but it is not essential.

Person Specification - Science Teacher

The successful Science Teacher should be proactive, engaging and inspiring; They should plan and prepare learning opportunities tailored to the individual needs of each child; assess individual learning needs and work on a group and class basis; maintain positive behaviour management strategies in line with school policies; through effective marking, monitor pupils' work and set targets for progress; assess and record pupils' progress systematically and keep records to check work is understood and completed, monitor strengths and weaknesses, inform planning and recognise the level at which the pupil is achieving; be committed to ensuring pupils make good sustained progress and encourage pupils to reach their full potential through engaging and stimulating teaching.
