Main Purpose of the Job;
•To support a positive Catholic ethos, which recognises the dignity of the individual and is reflected in the day-to-day life of the school
•To contribute to raising standards of student achievement in by teaching a timetable of lessons and supporting the subject leader in the achievement of whole school and department goals as stated in the RE department's development plan
•To co-ordinate either KS3, KS4 or KS5 RE curriculum
•To assist the Head of RE in promoting the highest possible teaching and learning for all pupils in the teaching of RE
•To work in accordance with the directions laid out in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions document
•To satisfy the Department of Education's Teaching standards

The Candidate;
•Degree Qualified in RE and relevant classroom experience.
•At least two years' teaching experience
•A high level of ICT literacy
•The ability to demonstrate effective leadership and management skills
•An excellent record of punctuality and attendance
•DBS Checked
•Good communication skills, both oral and written
•References available on request
•Right to work in the U.K.
