Job description
Your new role
Joining the Humanities department, you will work alongside fellow Humanities teachers within this successful department and will be responsible for teaching RE to KS4, as well as ideally History or Geography at KS3. You will plan and prepare all lessons, deliver these creating a positive learning environment and you will also be responsible for marking and assessing pupils work. Classes will consist of between 25 and 30 pupils and they will be of varying abilities, therefore it is important you are differentiating when both planning and delivering lessons. As this is a long term position, you will also be required to attend parents evenings and other school functions.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must posses Qualified Teacher Status and have experience teaching RE to KS4, as well as ideally History or Geography at KS3. You must be available to start in September and also willing to commit to a minimum of a 1 term contract.
