Are you available in January for a long term Music position?

Teacher of Music to KS4

September 2016 start

My client a mixed comprehensive high school who has a good ofsted report and achieves good results for GCSE grades between A - C is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Music Teacher who is results driven and committed to teaching Music.

This is a varied role and requires someone with excellent subject knowledge, time management and good lesson planning. The Music Department has excellent teaching facilities consisting of two large classrooms both well equipped with an interactive whiteboard, a selection of keyboards, tuned and un-tuned percussion, a drum kit, acoustic electric and bass guitars.

• To have Qualified Teacher Status

• To attend regular department meetings and to liaise with the relevant co-ordinators to ensure that they are kept up to date with key issues.

• To participate fully in the academic development of the department, for example, updating existing units of work and developing new ones as requested by the Head of Department.
