Protocol is working with a fantastic Secondary Pupil SEND school in Northampton who are seeking to employ a SEND Maths/ICT Teacher. The school is an independent, DfE registered, co educational day school, providing specialist education for up to 24 students, aged 11 18 years with on-going social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.

The school have a broad, flexible approach to the curriculum, so that it is not only tailored to the needs, skills and interests of the learners but also to provide a balance of academic.

This is a full-time role, five days a week starting in September and running till the end of the current term. The ideal candidate must have experience working as a Maths/ICT teacher for secondary aged children who are studying KS3 and KS4. If you can teach other subjects that would be a bonus. You will be teaching students in small groups of up to seven. You must have effective classroom management skills to be considered for this role. The right candidate will be an inventive and positive teacher who has a proactive attitude and the desire to go above and beyond the call of duty. The successful candidate will have QTS and a PGCE. You will need to hold an up to date DBS certificate and be able to provide a detailed, work history with two contactable references to be considered for this role.

The successful candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and a resilient personality, with a creative and flexible approach to teaching which builds success through challenge, personalisation and innovation. You will have experience of working with students who have SEND needs and will be calm, professional role model.
