Advert for English teacher

English teacher/Sandwell/Start ASAP

•Suitably qualified and highly motivated professional for the post of English teacher
•Good Secondary school
•Sandwell West Midlands area
•Start ASAP

Duties and responsibilities:
•Advising student on career issues.
•Organising and delivering lessons to students using innovative teaching strategies.
•Evaluating students' class work, marking and giving feedback.
•Preparing classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts.
•Recording and maintain accurate student attendance records/tracking progression and grades.
•Classroom management.
•Developing English lesson plans in line with the National Curriculum and awarding body specification
•Maintaining discipline in the classroom.
•Creating a vibrant teaching atmosphere.
•Maintaining own CPD.
