English Teacher Wanted

Are you an English Teacher looking to secure a Long Term position working on a 1-2-1 and group basis with pupils requiring extra support to hit their targeted attainment levels for this academic year?

This Birmingham Secondary School located close to the heart of the city centre require an English Teacher to join them on full time basis for the duration of this academic year?

Located near the heart of Birmingham this larger than average secondary school are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to a full time position for the duration of this academic year. The role will see the successful English Teacher teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils on a 1-2-1 or group basis who require intervention to support them in achieving their targeted attainment levels.

The school have a good reputation locally with a passionate and dynamic team with an experienced Head of Department who has a proven track record in supporting and developing Teachers. The school are looking to appoint a candidate who will embrace the high standards and expectations that are embedded within the department and join this high performing team!

The school population is diverse with a high proportion of students coming from ethnic minority backgrounds. EAL at the school is above the national average with the number of pupils eligible for the pupil premium also above the national average. Pupils with statements of SEN at the school are broadly in line with the national average.
