Teacher of Religious Education Wanted!

Are you looking for a long term Teacher of Religious Education position that could become permanent for the right candidate?

This Ofsted rated “Good” school are looking to appoint a Teacher of Religious Education to a full time position to start as soon as possible.

Located within Birmingham this school are looking to appoint a Teacher of Religious Education to a full time position. This position is initially offered on a long term basis to run through to Christmas though for the right candidate there is the possibility of a permanent position at the end of the term. The school are ideally looking for Teacher of Religion who can start immediately though they may be prepared to wait for the right candidate.

Located within the authority of Birmingham this school have been through a significant period of change over recent years. Under the auspices of the current Head Teacher the school have implemented an ethos of high standards and expectations that are now permeating through all levels of the school. They are keen to employ a Teacher of Religious Education who will embrace this ethos and will support the schools drive to achieving Outstanding School Status.

The school are located in an area of deprivation with a school population that has a high proportion pupils on the pupil premium a higher than average proportion of students with EAL and a higher than average proportion of pupils with special needs. Pupils have made excellent strides under the new head in both achievement and behaviour with a proportionate increase in pupil results and the enjoyment experienced by both staff and pupils in their roles and the school day.
