Job description
Geography Teacher Needed

Location: Greenwich

Job starts: September 2016

Salary: £125 + per day

Type: Full time

Term: Long Term

Our client, an award winning school based in the Greenwich area is seeking to appoint a teacher to join their forward thinking Humanitarian department from September 2016. Located minutes from a main line tube station this school boasts excellent progression rates to University and boasts modern facilities having recently built a new learning resources centre, fitness suite and cafeteria.

This is a full time for those that can offer a second Humanities subject. Also an excellent opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher to join an exciting place of work in September with a great support team. Geography is also very popular at A-level and the school have seen an increase in the last couple of years in number of students choosing Geography post 16

The ideal candidate will need the following;

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Able to teach Geography up to A-Level

- Second Humanities subject

- Be easily approachable and have a positive influence

- Be calm under pressure and a lively and enthusiastic commitment to teaching and raising the achievement level of all students

Greenwich is a fantastic area to live and work. There are many interesting and exciting places to socialise as well as explore. It has easy access from many different train and tube routes so offers great transport links.
