Job description
A Wakefield located, Alternate provision are looking to recruit a Teacher of ICT that can teach BTEC and GCSE ICT to pupils with Emotional and challenging behaviour. This role will be well supported but the ideal candidate must be able to act on their own initiative and be able to cater lessons for pupils of varying abilities.

Our school are looking to recruit an inspirational teacher with a real passion and desire for both the practical and theory of this subject area.

This post would suit an NQT or more experienced teacher who is looking for a new challenge. This role could continue after the Christmas break for the right person.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
