An extremely popular School in Brent is looking to hire a Mathematic graduate as a Head of Department to start working in January. The candidate must have experience managing large team of individuals. It would be beneficial if the candidate has experience teaching in a senior role as well as knowledge of the curriculum. The candidate will be working across 3 departments so experience with large workloads and multitasking is ideal so that the transition into the new role is smooth.

Essential requirements:

• In depth knowledge of the maths curriculum
• Extremely high regard for safeguarding
• Experience managing a group is necessary
• To undertake the correct procedures within school grounds
• Carry out a range of Administration duties including; preparing cover work, teaching materials and booklets for class
• Ability to assess different methods of learning
• Carry out weekly progress checks
• Experience managing a department is necessary
