Job description
Protocol Education is looking to appoint a creative and passionate Head of Geography to teach KS3 and KS4.

The successful candidate will need to be a supportive and engaging teacher who is able to deliver high quality teaching to all abilities. An up to date knowledge of the UK curriculum is essential. This is an ideal opportunity for a strong teacher with a passion for teaching to move into a leadership role. Working with a vibrant and highly successful faculty, you will be an outstanding classroom teacher with a passionate commitment to the progress of all students in our fully comprehensive school.

The successful Head of Department is expected to:

§ Have qualified teacher status (QTS) in the UK
§ Effectively teach key stage 3 and 4 curriculum to the highest standards.
§ Assess and mark pupils work, monitoring progression levels.
§ Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and other staff members.
§ Be committed to the schools objectives and teach in line with their ethos.
