Job description
Qualified English Teacher Required!!!

  • I am currently searching for a Qualified English Teacher for a secondary school located in the Nottinghamshire area to start after the Eater break.
  • The ideal candidate will be professional, flexible and adaptable with the opportunity to work in an Ofsted rated "Outstanding School."
  • This school has been recognised in the area for being one of high academic ability and results with a focus on achievement and a big pastoral culture in the school with Teachers and pupils alike.
  • The ideal candidate will want to be included in the schools ethics to achieve and strongly and firmly believe this and instill this in their methods of education and believe in the goals set by the Senior Leadership Team.
  • The school promote a very supportive teamwork style environment where the Teachers are expected to look out for each other and help unify to get through the challenges of teaching successfully.

Our "Outstanding" school is looking for English Teachers who are:
• passionate for teaching with the ability to deliver planned lessons to the highest quality, engaging the students in a fun and pro-active way.
• able to organise their own planning and marking and possibly manage a tutor group attached as a responsibility for which the successful applicant will be required to motivate and guide this students to achieve, keeping touch with parents where required.
• compassionate and respectful towards staff and students alike.
• able to demonstrate a commitment to education and the development of all students.
• able to create dynamic and inspiring teaching methods to ensure the progression of all students in your care regardless of their capability.

To apply for this role, you must:
  • Have recent experience teaching English in a secondary school environment, either private or state funded education it may be that you have just completed QTS and are newly qualified, in fact if this is the case, this role may be perfect. We still welcome applications from unqualified staff also.
  • Have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be working towards it, or another relevant teaching qualification.
