Job description
Protocol Education are currently working with an exceptional Independent Secondary school in Hertfordshire, to recruit an enthusiastic Secondary Science teacher who can confidently deliver Physics and Chemistry to KS4 and undertake some additional extra curricular activities as required.

The school prides itself on the quality of it's teaching staff and their subject knowledge, aiming to ensure each student is both encouraged and supported to reach their full potential.

With smaller than average class sizes and excellent varied facilities, students have the opportunity to enhance their learning whilst enjoying their exceptional surroundings and are encouraged to take part in regular extra curricular activities, through the multiple clubs available on the expansive campus.

*Please Note: This is a Full Time Temporary Position, with immediate interviews available for the right candidates*

The potential candidates must have strong organisational skills and a commitment to teaching and learning.
This position is open to experienced teachers as well as NQTs.
The successful Secondary Chemistry / Physics Teacher will be supported by an excellent senior leadership team and have access to on-going professional development.

To be considered for this position you must be;

- A qualified Secondary Science teacher with QTS.
- Able to teach engaging Science lessons, specifically in Chemistry and Physics to GCSE.
- Dedicated to ensuring each child continually progresses.
- An enthusiastic teacher and have a flexible approach to work.
- Able to develop and implement schemes of work.
- Able to plan and prepare effective teaching modules and lessons.
- Be able to motivate and inspire their pupils whilst improving levels of pupil attainment.
