We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher to join a supportive school in Barnsley. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and helping students achieve their full academic potential.

The Role:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons within your specialist subject area
• Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Assess, monitor, and support student progress through effective teaching and feedback
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Encourage students to develop confidence, independence, and a passion for learning
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to support student achievement

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting is desirable
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
