We are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work in one of our outstanding special needs school located in Merton. This school are looking for teaching assistants to work with Secondary and post 16 students with mild autism and speech and language difficulties. This outstanding school are renowned for looking after their staff and providing outstanding curriculum that meet the individual needs of the students. As a teaching teaching assistant you will be working in class sizes of 6 - 8 students, working one to one, working together as a team, and supporting students in lessons such as english, maths, art, music and P.E.

The role:
  • Working Monday to Friday
  • Working on a one to one basis
  • Developing social awareness and understanding
  • Working collaboratively with the class team
  • Supporting students in cross curricular subjects such as maths, art, English, music, P.E.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
