A leading special needs school located in south west London are currently recruiting a SENDCO/maths teacher to work on a long-term basis to work with secondary aged students with special needs. This particular school caters for a range of special needs that include visual/hearing impairments, autism, physical disabilities, medical needs and other complex needs. As a SENDCO you will be holding meetings with parents and educational professionals, writing IEPs & EHCPs, attending & leading annual reviews and managing a small team of professionals within in the school. In addition you will also be leading maths sessions to students with special needs and adapting the work to meet the students needs.

Requirements:
  • QTS
  • experience writing individualised education plans
  • Experience writing education health care plans
  • Strong understanding of P-Levels
  • Experience working with special needs
  • Experience in delivering low level mathematics and tailoring it to a special needs environment.
