Job description
Protocol Education is a specialist provider of classroom based staff to schools and academies in England. We provide our 4,000 clients with the full range of classroom based staff on both a temporary and permanent basis. Additionally, we provide teaching staff to international schools across the globe.

Each year over 11,000 teachers, teaching assistants, SEND specialists, early years, one-to-one tuition staff, and intervention specialists work through Protocol Education on either a full-time or part-time basis to help children meet their education goals. Each one is met face to face by one of our staff and checked to ensure that they meet the DfE safeguarding standards.

The role:
Protocol Education Cambridge are looking for experienced SEND Teachers that specialise or are highly experienced working with children with special needs such as autism (ASD) and speech and language difficulties. As a SEN teacher you will be required to work with SEN students across all ages in one of our excellent SEN schools.

The role will require leading, delivering and co-ordinating lessons and curriculum to students that are diagnosed with autism, communication difficulties and developmental delay. Candidates who are committed to ensuring pupils make good progress and encourage pupils to reach their potential through engaging and stimulating teaching will be considered.

Successful candidates will need the following skills and qualifications to be considered:

• QTS teaching qualification or a UK recognised teaching qualification teaching at a secondary level
• Passionate about working in education
• Experienced working with children with ASD
• Experience of P-Levels
• Adaptable, and able to work in a challenging setting
• Interested in working in a different environment
• Committed, resilient and caring
• Must apply for disclosure barred service or currently registered to the updated service

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools.
