We are currently looking to appoint an excellent Mathematics teacher to work within a SEND school with a primary diagnosis of Autism or Asperger's Syndrome. This role will start in October 2020 on a full-time basis, with a view to become permanent.

The Role

You will be required to work with a small class of pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The role will entail delivering Math's subjects to secondary aged students in small groups. You must also be a qualified teacher and have previously worked with special needs students (ASD). You will be working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school.

The ideal candidate:

Must have:
SEN experience with ASD experience
Secondary School background
Qualified Teacher Status
Genuine passion for Special educational needs

The School

The main focus of the school is to meet the teaching and learning needs of students with Autistic Spectrum Disorders where these cannot be met in a mainstream school.

The school prides itself on providing access to a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum for all students. To facilitate this the school has prepared each of its teaching areas to the learning needs of ASD students.

You must also have a valid DBS check on the update service.
