About the School:
• Protocol are working closely with a large 4 form school located in Camden
• The school is performing on par with like schools and was RATED GOOD in the last OFSTED inspection
• The school has a strong emphasis on developing critical thinking skills, providing a secure and nurturing environment and providing a curriculum well matched to each individual.
• There is a lower than national average proportion of students with SEND Supports in place - with some EHCP in place as well.
• Students come from diverse backgrounds with a higher than average percentage of students from EAL backgrounds. There is also a large proportion that are eligible for free school meals.

About the role:
As a SENCo, we aim to:
• Link you with suitable roles working across Key Stages 3 to 5
• Work within your parameters
• Be transparent with you in expectations about availability and details of any assignment
• Support you with providing opportunities to CPD (such as Safeguarding courses)
• Maintain contact and making sure that you are supported fully to reach your potential as a new graduate or established teacher(if applicable)

About you:
As a successful candidate, you should be able to:
• Demonstrate a proven track record of goo teaching - showing passion towards effective attainment and intervention with students with SEND and EAL backgrounds
• Articulate and demonstrate how they are an effective leader within the school environment, working closely with others to raise standards and make a significant difference to student's academic lives
• Show a steady career or study history with ability to supply a minimum of 2 recent references covering the last 3 years. Strong references are necessary for this role.
• Show, or be willing to commit to gaining, SENDCo qualifications.
• Contribute to the wider school community, working closely with partners and outside organisations to provide effective intervention within the school environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
