Job description
I am seeking a SENCO to lead all SEN provision at a Secondary School in High Wycombe. You will have the vision, energy and a desire to make a difference, be able to confidently manage a team of experienced Learning Support Assistants and liaise with the Pastoral and Inclusion teams as well as external agencies. You will be an excellent classroom practitioner who will be able to support staff in the successful inclusion of students across the school. This post presents an opportunity to build on your existing strengths in a very successful school. In addition, you will be able to develop a vision and direction for learning support that will reflect the school's commitment to inclusion for all
A high proportion of our students are on the SEN register. The multi-cultural school serves a deprived area and has approximately 50% pupils from minority ethnic backgrounds.
