This role will be long-term with a view to become permanent as this school does tend to recruit familiar faces when they have allocation to hire new people.

Your main duties will be;

• Support students with their work
• Manage/develop students behaviour
• Supervising classroom activities
• Report back to teachers about students work

The school has fantastic resources for creative subjects and hosts a high spec music facility, every other term they put on a performance for families and carers to see the work they do.
Due to the nature of a special school, there are aspects of personal care involved so only apply for this role if you are open to supporting pupils to be clean and safe as well as to learn.
