Job description
Protocol Education is currently looking for an enthusiastic and proactive SENd Science Teacher to work within a large Pupil Referral Unit in Middlesbrough, to start as soon as is possible. The school has KS2-KS4 provision, the successful candidate will be expected to deliver Science to GCSE Level and adopt responsibility for all planning and assessing of the curriculum.

The provision has a large and welcoming team, that ensure the correct levels of support are given and that the students are able to learn in a setting that is structured and well ran.

Previous experience of working within an Alternative Education or PRU setting is desirable, though not essential, and the correct candidate will have excellent behaviour management skills. Team Teach training would be an advantage.

Applicants who lack experience but have a genuine interest in SEND are more than welcome to apply. More than anything we would like applicants who are able to demonstrate enthusiasm, dependability, confidence and the versatility to tailor their approach to each class they teach in
