RE Teacher / Religious Education Specification:

We are hoping for a hard-working and intelligent RE Teacher / Religious Education Teacher who possesses a catalogue of exciting resources. The school wants an RE Teacher / Religious Education Teacher with the ability to keep hold of any class with integrity and style. The ideal Teacher will possess the behavioural management abilities that will allow them to deal with any rumblings of bad behaviour that might creep into classroom lessons.

About the RE Teacher / Religious Education Teacher Role:

This RE Teacher / Religious Education Teacher role involves you teaching within the school's successful Humanities Department. The successful RE Teacher / Religious Education Teacher will be expected to teach up to Key Stage 4. The ability to teach an additional Humanities subject to KS3 is also desirable but not necessary. The opportunity is open to NQTs and experienced teachers, with NQTs being provided an academic mentor to guide them through their induction year.

As such the school is hoping for a RE Teacher / Religious Education Teacher who reflects this approach.
