Job description
I am working with a school based in County Durham who are looking for an experienced RE teacher to start after Easter through to the Summer. The role would be have a 2 week timetable:

Week 1 - Monday-Thursday
Week 2 - Monday-Friday

The school are seeking a dynamic teacher with experience of teaching RE to at least GCSE level. The candidate must have good knowledge of the subject and an awareness of how to challenge pupils, ensuring all students make progress.

Essential requirements:
• A Qualified Teacher Status (either a PGCE or Cert Ed.)
• Very good knowledge of the British National Curriculum and the ability to plan differentiated work.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willing to undertake one.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Excellent teaching references.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
