Job description
Protocol Education are currently working with an exceptional Secondary school in Historical Hertfordshire, to urgently recruit an enthusiastic Secondary Physics teacher who can confidently deliver Physics to A-Level and Maths to Key Stage 3.

The school prides itself on the quality of it's teaching staff and their subject knowledge, aiming to ensure each student is both encouraged and supported to reach their full potential. A very strong and supportive Physics department awaits the successful applicant.

Fantastic facilities are available at the school and students are encouraged to be both innovative and entrepreneurial while in pursuit of academic excellence.
The school is within commutable distance of London and has good links to the capital, for anyone who may be looking for a more rural location within reach of the city.

*Please Note: This is a Full Time Maternity Cover Position, with immediate interviews available for the right candidates*

The potential candidates must have strong organisational skills and a commitment to teaching and learning.
This position is open to experienced teachers as well as NQTs.
The successful Physics Teacher will be supported by an excellent senior leadership team and have access to on-going professional development.

To be considered for this position you must be;

- A qualified Secondary Physics teacher with QTS.
- Able to teach engaging Science lessons, specifically in Physics to A-Level and Maths to Key Stage 3.
- Dedicated to ensuring each child continually progresses.
- An enthusiastic teacher and have a flexible approach to work.
- Able to develop and implement schemes of work.
- Able to plan and prepare effective teaching modules and lessons.
- Be able to motivate and inspire their pupils whilst improving levels of pupil attainment.
