Job description
Finance Manager - School

This exciting ofsted school are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join their enthusiastic and friendly team. This role will report directly into the Schools Business Manager and will involve building close relationships with all other members of the team. As a member of this faculty you will be allowed the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge across a highly rated school to enhance your portfolio whilst playing a part in an exciting and rewarding environment.

Duties will include:
• Assisting the schools business manager with budgets and forecasts
• Preparing financial accounts
• Taking responsibility for the schools accounting and reconciliation procedures
• Annual financial analysis
• Ad-hoc tasks

To be successful for this role, you should have an AAT qualification or equivalent. Experience in schools finance is highly desirable. Experience with managing budgets and a sound financial background are essential.
