Job description
**School DT Technician required for a school in Kensington + Chelsea starting Jan 2019 **

School DT Technician needed to join a hardworking, friendly science team starting ASAP on a long-term basis for a secondary school in Kensington.

Previous School DT Technician experience IS essential, and the candidate MUST be work shop trained.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be providing Outstanding technical support to the Head of Department and subject teachers. You will be required to maintain the cleanliness and working order of the workshop, workrooms and all equipment, ensuring a safe working environment at all times. You will be required to set up and pack down for all practicals, and provide in class support to teacher and students where required.

About You
The successful applicant will:
* Be an experienced DT Technician with sound Resistant Materials knowledge, who is certified using all tools and machinery.
* have a proactive attitude, be enthusiastic, flexible, willing to get the job done and hard worker
* Work well in a team environment, and also be able to work autonomously
* Sound knowledge of Health and Safety
