Exciting Secondary Maths NQT opportunity – Falkland Islands (3months)
Are you a newly qualified Secondary teacher and looking for an exciting opportunity in the Falkland Islands?
Protocol Education is currently looking for skilled, driven and enthusiastic Secondary NQTs for a number of secondary positions in a high achieving British curriculum school based in the Falkland Islands from September 2016 – December 2016.
The role includes:
At least three years’ recent teaching experience, within a UK or a British curriculum school
Proven ability to teach Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4
Ability and willingness to teach mixed ability classes
The contracts for these roles include:
Flights plus midterm flight
Housing is provided at low cost with start-up package included
Salary - following the British pay scale
Promotion opportunities due to staff movement
Applicants must have recognised teaching qualifications (BEd, QTS, PGCE or equivalent) and recent British Curriculum classroom experience. They must be dedicated practitioners and must be able to demonstrate analytical thinking to improve the quality of pupils' learning. In addition, they must engage and motivate the pupils that they work with.
