Graduate Learning Mentor

Have you recently graduated and want to secure a paid role within a school as a graduate learning mentor?

Do you have a vision of becoming a teacher in the future, but first want to gain experience as a Graduate Learning Mentor?

Are you a motivated graduate who has enthusiasm and passion to work within education?

If so this Graduate Learning Mentor role could be the perfect stepping stone to start your career!

Graduate Learning Mentor - Person Specification:
• Graduate with a 2.1 or 1st
• Strong academic background e.g. A Levels
• All degree subjects considered, however core subjects are preferred
• Previous child-based experience desired
• Passion and enthusiasm for education a must

The schools we work with are keen to appoint talented, driven and considerate graduates into Graduate Learning Mentor roles in various subjects depending on your specialism.

In the Graduate Learning Mentor role you will support lessons, interventions and run small-group interventions on your own. You will have access to excellent training and support to help you to learn the key aspects of planning and delivering high quality interventions. You will be able to identify areas for development amongst your key group of students and support the students overcome any barriers including any emotional support.

With the support of your mentor, you will develop your skills and knowledge of working within education. You will gain invaluable school-based experience which will help you to secure a teacher training position the following year, should you wish to do so.
