A well renown educational facility in Barnet are looking for a SEN Learning Support Assistant to start immediately. The ideal candidate should have experience working with students dealing with social and emotional anxiety and preferably have some experience in managing SEN needs.

Working as part of the SEN team, you can expect a diverse and welcoming faculty willing to support you in your role. The students will require high levels of attention and focus, you will be expected to develop structure learning regimes for these students to help aid with academic progress. As part of your daily routine, you will be liaising with students, teachers and parents to report progress, social anxiety can affect performance in schools so implementing social integration techniques will be essential.

Essential requirements:

• experience working 1:1 is ideal
• Extremely high regard for safeguarding and compliance
• Effective behaviour management skills
• Experience differentiating teaching/support methods
