My client is well-respected and reliable faith school based in the borough of Barnet, who is currently recruiting for a learning support assistant to start in May. The school ultimately prides itself on excellence, integrity, trust and aspiration, with the overall objective to give all children an opportunity to succeed in life, regardless of their background.

The role will require the candidate to support students on day to day basis, working within small learning groups and may also occasionally expected to offer 1 to 1 mentoring. Adopting an inclusive attitude is essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively to support the learning needs of students, and to ultimately assist them with their educational progression.

The successful candidate should have a positive attitude, a high level of patience, and an enthusiastic demeanour, with a passion to assist children with their educational needs. The candidate must also adhere to the school's religious attitudes, although not required to hold those specific religious beliefs. The ideal candidate will also be degree educated, specifically in the subject of mathematics.

If you pride yourself on making a difference, and believe you have the attributes required in order to help students achieve their highest potential then we would love to hear from you.
