Job description
Due to the continued high demand of Exam Invigilators at our client Secondary schools, Protocol Education are currently looking to recruit diligent, pragmatic and efficient Exam Invigilators on an ongoing basis until the end of the academic year (July 2019)
Work will be available throughout the year for internal mock examinations, but predominately in the months of May and June for the external exam season.
Successful exam invigilators will need to be available from 8:00am to facilitate the set-up of the morning exams. For the afternoon exams, invigilators will need to be available for a 1:00pm set up time. On some occasions the exam can go onto to 4:30pm. We expect the team to be able to be flexible dependent on the season, as these timings depend on the exam being sat.
Duties and responsibilities:

Candidates will be expected to;
•Supervise students sitting exams
•Provide assistance where necessary
•Scribe for students with special educational needs
•Help set up the exams hall and collect exam papers
•Be punctual as it is imperative the exams can start as scheduled
•Always demonstrate the highest professional expectations and ensure students conduct themselves in the appropriate manner
•Be active patrolling the exam space
•Be vigilant to ensure that candidates do not cheat, speak or use prohibited items.
•Be compliance to the exam conduct expectations as outline by JCQ.
What you'll need to succeed:

Although previous experience is not required candidates must be able to provide two employment/student references, hold an enhanced DBS disclosure issued within the last year and be prepared to apply for a new agency disclosure. All invigilators will be subject to suitability checks.
