Secondary Inclusion Support

We are currently working with a mainstream secondary school located in Hillingdon who provide of support for pupils with social emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) within the Inclusion Unit .

This is a warm and welcoming school, where the pastoral care is a the forefront of everything they do. They build close relationships with their pupils and their families and this gives the school a foundation from which they can with their cohort to help them all achieve their potential.

They are currently looking for a Mentor to join their team. The current team works to meet the social, emotional, mental health and academic needs of highly vulnerable children, to help them make progress in all areas and be ready for their next stage in learning.
We are recruiting for a Mentor who has previous experience in this area and can provide the following:

• Listen and advice with ongoing support
• Promote positive behaviour
• Offer encouragement and build self-esteem, resilience and confidence
• Identify the barriers to learning and set targets

You Must Have;

UK youth work/pastoral experience
Clear & Current DBS on the Update Service
2 RECENT professional references upon request
