Job description
We are currently recruiting for a high achieving independent girls' high school located in Felling Gateshead. They are seeking to appoint (as a permanent member of staff) an inspiring and dynamic ICT Teacher to teach KS4 ICT and also develop the ICT department in an over-subscribed independent faith school.
The role is currently timetabled for 2 full days each week - Wednesday & Thursday (from April the working hours can be tailored to suit the successful candidate) with the possibility of an additional half day.

It is an occupational requirement for the candidate to be female.
The successful applicant will possess the following qualities:
·Excellent subject knowledge in ICT and also some background in Business Studies.
·An outstanding ability to maintain classroom discipline through dynamic and inspirational teaching.
·A highly engaging personality able to inspire students to think deeply.
·Significant previous experience at teaching KS4 ICT.
·High aspirations for academic excellence.
·The ability and willingness to be sensitive to the religious ethos of our school in the delivery of the ICT curriculum.

Essential requirements:
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willing to undertake one.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Excellent references.
