Job description
Protocol Education are looking for experienced Home Economics teacher for Secondary aged students in a mainstream setting.

Working on a temporary or a permanent basis, you will need to combine your professional experience and skills to support a varied and stimulating curriculum within a secondary school.
Have recent experience of working within an educational setting (and be able to provide references)
Strong subject knowledge to support students
Have experience working in raising attainment and supporting students during pre-exam season

We are seeking to appoint a talented and dynamic temporary Head of Home Economics work within our hugely supportive and successful Technology Department. The temporary Head of Home Economics position is available from January 2019.

The Department offers BTEC Home Cooking Skills, GCSE Food Technology, Food Technology at A level. The Technology department achieves outstanding results at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level and all classes are taught in mixed ability groups from Year 7 onwards.
