I am looking for a suitable, highly skilled individual to work in the SEND team to support pupils in class alongside the classroom subject teachers. This is to make sure that the curriculum is accessible and that the level of attainment and progress is substantial.

The suitable candidate will have opportunities to develop learning resources that are tailored and specific to the individual students. This would suitable for a candidate who is looking to pursue a role in SEND settings, teaching or psychology or social work.

About the role:
As a dedicated Teaching and Learning Assistant, we aim to:
• Link you with suitable roles working across Key Stages 3 to 5
• Work within your parameters
• Be transparent with you in expectations about availability and details of any assignment
• Support you with providing opportunities to CPD (such as Safeguarding courses)

About you:
• Will have either a good honours degree or Level 3 qualifications
• Experience in working with students with additional needs, in education in general or a youth-focused environment is desired
• Must be able to support across Key Stages 3 to 5. Experience in all Key Stages.
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management techniques. Able to promote behaviour for learning.
• Steady career history with ability to supply a minimum of 2 recent references covering the last 3 years.
• Clients are open to candidates with good to outstanding references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
