Job description
Protocol Education are recruiting for is a skilled Head of R.S Candidate.
The school is in Newham.
The school has been rated Good from ofsted for overall effectiveness and has been rated Outstanding for Leadership and management.
Achievement and well-being are at the centre of everything they do. school facilities are exceptional with well-resourced classrooms that really motivate and support students and staff.
We are looking for an outstanding teacher of Religious Studies and Philosophy to lead the further development of our Religious Education department.
The role is full time and for a full academic year with the opportunity to go perm. We are seeking a clear subject skilled candidate whom can lead by example and ensure to instruct those around them.

About the role:
To plan lessons and Schemes of Work and to ensure the teaching materials and
Methodologies
Assessment and Reports
To be a form tutor and play a full part in the support of students.
Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters and on them
further education and future careers, including information about resources of more
expert advice on specific questions; making relevant records and reports.
To communicate and consult with the parents of students.
To communicate and co-operate with persons or bodies outside the school.
To play a part in the overall organisation and development of the school. This could be
done in a variety of ways, but will include contributing to various staff meetings and
working groups.
