If so, we are working in partnership with an Outstanding SEN Secondary School based in Shrewsbury looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to join their exceptional Geography department. The ideal candidate will have both the commitment and ability to enthuse and motivate our students to ensure excellent progress is made by all. They will be a dynamic teacher who encourages a love for the subject through both their teaching and their involvement in co-curricular offers. The successful candidate should have a genuine passion for the subject, the ability to be an outstanding teacher of their subject and be committed to raising achievement, raising aspirations, and going the extra mile

The successful candidate will:

• Be an experienced Geography and Citizenship teacher with great subject knowledge

• Be a qualified teacher with QTS

• Have experience of teaching Geography and Citizenship in a previous role

• Have an updated CV • Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high

• Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example

• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies

• Hold a valid and current DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
