I am working with a fantastic school in the North London boroughs of Barnet that require SEN Learning Support Assistants to join their dedicated teams on a long-term basis from September.

The schools are looking for enthusiastic people, passionate about improving the education of SEN students and can offer a rewarding career moving forward.

We cover all areas of the SEND sector, these include;

• Social, emotional and mental health (SEMH)
• Specific learning difficulties (SpLD)
• Moderate learning difficulty (MLD)
• Profound and multiple learning difficulty (PMLD)
• Physical disability (PD)
• Hearing impairment (HI)
• Visual impairment (VI)
• Speech, language and communication needs (SLCN)

Ideal Candidate:
• Be well organised and a team player
• Have the ability to build effective relationships with students and deal with unexpected situations during the school day
• Be willing to undertake further training.
• You will be expected to manage your own workload and prioritise work appropriately
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written are an essential part of the role to be able to deal with staff, students, parents and external agencies.
