My client is a fantastic comprehensive based in Haringey who is committed to ensuring that all children have access to varied, challenging and inspiring education. The school in question is currently looking for a SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their already successful supply team, with the availability to start as soon as possible.

The school encourages students to think differently in their approach to education and believes all teaching staff should inspire students to be articulate, informed, confident and motivated. The role is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to support and assist SEND students who possess a variety of special needs such as MLD, SEMH and ACE.

If you consider yourself to be a caring, patient and friendly individual then this could be the type of role you are looking for. You must possess a calm demeanor and have a strong desire to work with young people who have challenging behaviour. This role may also be suited to you if you are a psychology graduate looking for some valuable work experience.

Protocol Education is a Supply Agency offering both long terms and short terms roles in Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Special Needs (SEND) Education. We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00
