An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and highly motivated English Teacher to join a popular, flourishing and highly-supportive Secondary School in Sutton, London Borough. Commencing this September, the successful candidate will be joining one the school's most successful Departments where results have soared to an all time high.

JOB TITLE: English Teacher

START DATE: September 2016

LOCATION: Sutton, London Borough

SALARY: £150 - £220 per day ( Long-Term Supply Position)


CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent (Full-Time)


We are working alongside an specialist 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with an excellent reputation in the local area. The school has superb facilities and views themselves as an innovative teaching and learning community. Our client school believe that students achieve their best when they play a full and active part in school life and to this end learning is supported by an impressive range of activities, both within school and extra curricular.


From September 2016, our client school requires an inspirational, well qualified and hardworking teacher of English to join a successful, supportive and popular Literacy department with excellent facilities. You will deliver Science throughout Key Stages 3 (KS3) and 4 (KS4).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified English teacher (NQT) as well as English Teachers with more experience. The successful candidate will be a high calibre Science teacher with a drive to deliver the highest quality teaching and learning, contributing to our client school's students' educational experience.


To be considered for this role, you will need to be a English Teacher who has obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status (QTLS). Overseas Trained Teachers (OTT) who have had their qualifications verified by UK NARIC will also be considered. You will be required to engage, enthuse, motivate and challenge students to maintain the school's high standards of achievement. The successful Maths Teacher will be able to contribute positively to the continuation of an ambitious and progressive Maths department. You will need to consistently plan and deliver the curriculum utilising a high level of initiative and organisation.
