We’re working closely with a well-respected secondary school in the Harrogate area that’s looking to welcome a passionate English Teacher to their permanent team. You’ll be teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for the right candidate. The school is looking for someone who can bring texts to life, encourage confident communication, and help students discover their own voice along the way.

The role:
You’ll be:
• Delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Inspiring students through literature, language, and discussion
• Creating a classroom environment where confidence can grow

What we’re looking for:
• UK QTS or currently completing teacher training
• A genuine passion for English and student development
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
