Job description
Protocol Education are looking for Cover Supervisors to work closely on a day-to-day basis with the potential of short and longer-term assignments with a client in TF11.

Are you looking for a support role within a Secondary School? An unqualified teacher looking to get more experience before your PGCE? or Looking for a teaching role without the stress of planning and marking?

If you have some experience of working with secondary aged children, either within a school setting or tutoring experience then this could be the ideal role for you!

You will be responsible for taking classes across the age range of key stage 3-5 for absent teachers and will be expected to provide instruction to the class as directed by the class teacher. You are NOT required to teach the lesson, you are there to ensure the students are completing the set work and collecting in the work at the end of the lesson.

You will maintain good order, keep students on task and foster positive relationships with them as a professional role model.

You will be expected to register each class at the beginning of each lesson. You will be expected to cover (Not teach!) a range of subjects.

You will be responsible for the behavioural management of the class, including praising of good behaviour. The key skills it takes to be a cover supervisor are confidence, punctuality and organisation.

Cover Supervising is a great opportunity for anyone aspiring to become a teacher, or someone who wants to gain more experience within an educational setting.

If this positions sounds of interest then please apply today! You are in control of your working hours, can't commit to a full day? Do half-days or even just a few hours!

Protocol Education is one of the country's leading educational recruitment agencies. We offer competitive rates of pay. If you think you have the skills and experience for this role then please email your CV to kirandeep.kaur@protocol-education.com.

Please note only successful candidates will be contacted.
