Protocol Education's Secondary division are recruiting for talented Cover Supervisors. There is currently a high demand amongst our client schools in the South Yorkshire area.

The aim of Cover Supervisor will be to develop the skills and abilities needed to move seamlessly between other teacher's classes. You have to command respect from students you don't teach regularly and effectively manage lessons to as high a standard as their regular class teachers.

Cover supervisor duties:

The cover supervisor's main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set.

You WILL NOT be required to:

Plan lessons
Have the subject knowledge
Mark work
Set homework


We also offer Cover Supervisor training so if you are interested then this is an option once you are registered with us!

Please note:
We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
