Job description
Protocol Education are currently looking for multiple people to take on Day-to-day assignments within mainstream Secondary Schools in the London Area. From my experience, actors tend to make amazing Cover Supervisors and usually get large volumes of work, due to their confidence within the classroom.

So, what is a Cover Supervisor? Although it may sound daunting, nine times out of ten, you will be the only adult in the classroom. You will cover a mixture of subjects, but usually, if you have a subject area in which you are more confident, the school will most probably play to your strengths. Your main responsibilities include ensuring the register is taken at the start of the lesson, monitoring behaviour throughout the lesson and following the lesson plan which is provided. Schools love actors to take on these roles due to the confidence and energy they bring to the school.

We understand as actors, you need flexibility and we can provide that. You tell us when you're available to work and we will try and get you work for those days. If you want work full-time, but get an audition call in the afternoon for the following day, just let us know and we'll get you covered for the day.

We work with Secondary Schools across all London Boroughs and we try to place you close to home to make your life easier. Most Cover Supervisor work is done day by day, meaning we require you to be up and ready to leave the house by 7am on available days.

As actors, you already have the transferable skills to do the job well. Generally, working hours are from 8.30am to 3.30pm.

Pay is upwards of £65.00 per day.

Registering is quick and easy, and our offices are a 2 minute walk from Tottenham Court Road station.
