Want to become a Cover Supervisor?

Protocol Education's Secondary division are recruiting for talented Cover Supervisors for a school in Middlesbrough. Excellent classroom management is essential in this role.
The school aims to empower their students to reach their academic and personal potential. The school is heavily involved in the local community. The kind of staff they require for the role, are staff who have a genuine interest in becoming embedded in the school community and ensuring each student is given the very best support to achieve to the best of their potential!
The aim of Cover Supervisor training will be to developing the skills and abilities needed to move seamlessly between other people's classes which is no mean feat. You have to command respect from students you don't teach regularly and effectively manage lessons to as high a standard as their regular class teachers.

Cover supervisor duties:
The cover supervisor's main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set. You WILL NOT be required to:

Plan lessons
Have the subject knowledge
Mark work
Set homework
