Job description
Have you finished your University studies and you are looking for a route into the Education System? Are you looking for experience to gain a place on a Teacher Training course?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Secondary School in Dudley who are searching for committed and professional people to take up the role of Graduate Cover Supervisor.

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you are required to deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of a class teacher on a short-term basis. This role involves a lot of autonomy and a calm approach benefits both staff and pupils. You may also be utilised on a long-term or permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an educational setting and many Graduate Cover Supervisors go on to be very successful teachers (once having completed a PGCE).

You will ideally have experience in a school, tuition, alternative education setting, coaching, instructing, leading groups, be on course to complete a degree or have an educational qualification. Experience is not essential as you will be provided with coaching to develop behaviour management strategies to keep learners on track.

In return, you will receive excellent rates of pay, weekly payments and support during challenging moments. Graduate Cover Supervisors benefit from flexible working arrangements including day to day, short and longer term contracts.
Please submit your CV in the first instance.
