Cover Supervisor Person Specification

*You should be a graduate with a good degree

*The school want to meet adaptable, confident individuals, does this sound like you?

*Working as a Cover Supervisor, you should be flexible and relish responsibility

*You will be working across a wide range of subjects, so core subject knowledge is desired

Cover Supervisor Role Overview

*Working across the school, covering pre-planned lessons in the event of staff absence

*Providing occasional 1:1 and small group support when needed

*You will be providing feedback to subject leaders and heads of department on progress/challenges

*As a Cover Supervisor you will also have the opportunity to get involved in after school clubs/activities

As a Cover Supervisor, your role will involve you supporting teaching and learning across the school during staff absence. No day will be the same and because the role is so varied, you will gain valuable experience to support a future application in teacher training.
